Nice job on the vocal harmonies, Gee! This must have been a fun project to undertake. Just a technical observation - on the two Beatles songs, the vocals jump out a little too much in the mix when you hit the three-part lines, and they distort a bit. There's a bit of peak-level distortion on the guitar tracks on the Byrds songs, too. I'd be careful of your recording levels going to "tape" so that they're not too hot.

Hey Mark!......I just saw this post, and I'm sorry I didn't acknowledge sooner  .....thanks for the observations. The 2 Beatle songs AND 8MH were originally recorded on a Tascam 8-track cassette recorder......I've remixed and re-EQ'd them several times.....1/8th inch width cassette tape is NOT ideal for recording quality.....tried to digitize and fix them up in Cakewalk, and it helped alot....my hearing is down about 25% due to 40+ years of bar band playing......I'm mixing nowadays with my hearing aids in  .......hopefully I'll catch more stuff like the overloading. Recording time comes at a premium for time and space.....Question: I still haven't received the RRFCD3 yet  .....how much tweaking of "Naperville Rain" did you have to do?
Can't wait to get my cds! :D
