Dan Maines (CLUTCH)

Post by fluffy »

IN 1990, CLUTCH became the greatest thing to happen to Rock & Roll since the invention of the wound 3rd. Dan Maines, their bassist on occasion breaks out this beauty :

if you haven't checked them out yet you should. they are everything you could ever want !!! album after album they've never staled, always added something new to the mix and put on one of the most engrossing and energetic live sets you could ever hope to witness!!! here's what out friends at the VOX site got from them in an interview...http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt ... s%3Disch:1

FLUFFY! Here's one for ya. Looks like he has a newer model with some FW inlays.

Everyone else, about the regular amount of Bass Player time in this video, but feel free to jam along to JPs rhythms. Go buy a record.

Saw them play the other night. He's splitting his signal between that Orange head and the big honkin' Ampeg, but that's all I could tell. Not sure if it's stereo or clean/dirty. Not even sure if it's a Terror Bass head or a guitar version. Sounded great though and yeah, Clutch do it right.

Nice one. I keep seeing the setlists on their FB page, but haven't brought one over.

Clutch is live on AXS tv tonight. It looks like he has humbuckers and a treble bezel in his FG bass.
