Pickup Selector Switch "noise"

Post by ric480 »

My '81 480 has developed some "noise" when I use the pickup toggle switch (and I use it a lot). Any ideas or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have any 'Vaseline' or some auto grease?

The two fins on the selector switch need lubing.

Take a tooth pick with some grease on it and apply the goo to the two flat areas that are bent on the long sections of the selector switch .

A little on both sides is all you need.
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!
