RIP Richie Hayward

Little Feat drummer and original member succumbed to cancer yesterday. He was 64. :(

Oh No ! That is really shocking and so sad ! What a loss. Little Feat without him....His style was unique.. Rest in Peace..reunited with Lowell

Building the band on the other side.. bummer he and his loved ones had to go through that. He will be missed... :cry:

Always loved his drumming. It was part of what made Little Feat so great. Played with Robert Plant for a while as well. He'll be missed.

He had cancer of the liver. Unfortunately he died here in BC waiting for a liver transplant. The actual cause of death was complications from pneumonia. He had been living in the Comox Valley for the past three years and he did not have any health insurance. Over the past year, benefits had been staged on his behalf.
