I don't know for sure whether we have any NZ members, Mitch, but I think not.

Appears to have been a 5+ aftershock, too:

I hope things are O.K. for the folks down there. Aftershocks can kill because they bring down structures made unstable (but still standing) by the first big shock.

I have some family down there, I'm sure my mother will be intouch if any thing nasty has befallen them...

My siblings and some extended family are in Christchurch but from what I've heard they're all ok.
