The serial number will be in two parts, the top part will say 08 for 2008, the second part on the bottom of the jackplate will have a five number sequence, the first two being the week of manufacture.

Took the 330 to it's first band practice last night. Everyone thought it sounded awesome! It seriously trounces my Epiphone Sheraton (soon to be sold.) It's easier to play, lighter, has more sustain, and this nice fat tone with both pickups selected. I love it!

You just didn't want Brian to think we were ganging up on him. Jeff is really a sensitive guy after all.

Here's a much better photo of me playing my new 330 with my band, the Karma Kings. You can see Jeff Scott in back with his Rickenbacker bass. Brian is still playing a Fender Telecaster, but we're working on him. :D I got several comments on how great the new guitar looks and sounds. It was the first time I have played it at a gig and it was pure heaven!

Full Cleveland wrote:I finally got my first Ric, a 2008 330-6 Fireglo, from Pick Of The Ricks. It is a real beauty, looks like it was never out of the case! The finish on this one is beautiful, much more dramatic colors than the 2010 I saw at Sam Ash. This one goes to a blood red at the outside and a nice pink blush in the center. Set up is first rate and Chris put on the strings I requested, D'Addario ECG23, XL Chromes. What an awesome guitar! :D Here are the requisite pictures:
