Paul George Rahilly...... yea, nice ring to it!
Now if your last name was Johnson.....
"John" will be his 'Confirmation' name in a few years.
Everyone calls him Ringo anyway!! :D

I had forgotten that George had two Country Gents; one with the flip-up mutes, one without(?). I'm making the assumption that George is holding both of his in the photo. And did both of these disappear? I think I remember reading that one fell off a lorry and was run over in traffic?

According to driver Alf Bicknell (I've got the DVD! :-) ), the guitar was strapped to the back of the car, fell off and was run over by a lorry. The driver
got their attention, they pulled over and heard him say, "I ran over your banjo!"

The caption to the photo reads:

"This was taken by Jesse Ed Davis’ girlfriend at the Troubador nightclub in LA in 1974, it’s pretty amazing as no known photographs were taken of John and George together after early 1971. It’s kinda sad, everyone concentrates on John and Paul’s squables, but the saddest falling out was between John and George, i don’t think they saw each other again after November 1974 and the whole ‘Listen to this balloon’ incident. I didn't know either, but I just Googled it and...
In February 1964 the Beatles began their American journey there and ten years later they attempted to reunite in the same spot to sign legal documents that would formally dissolve their partnership. However, "John didn’t show up. 'He wouldn’t come across the park!' Paul McCartney said.
'I had flown in from England, and John wouldn’t show up. George got on the phone and yelled, ’Take those fracking shades off and come over here.’ John still wouldn’t come over. He had a balloon delivered with a sign saying ‘Listen to this balloon.’ It was all quite far out.'"
