Jdog is right. Beginning one's fortieth year means that one is 39. :)

Thanks for the kind wishes everyone. I am indeed 39 years old today. Happy to be alive for another go round in this messy world -and even happier to share it with folks such as yourselves. Seriously, I would love to tip glasses and jam with each of you.

I share a birthday with Paul Kossoff, papa Haydn, Fred 'Sonic' Smith, and Clayton Moore (the Lone Ranger).
