My Silvertone birthday Guitar!

Post by octagon »

Got this 1964 Silvertone 604 for my birthday. It is the same model Audrey Hepburn played in "Breakfast At Tiffanys"

This is actually a great little guitar(solid birch!) Check out the one Eli "Paperboy" Reed has. He put a an old Kay pickup in his and it sounds great!

I got my girlfriend this 1965 "Little Miss No Name" doll for her birthday

Do you think I should put a pickup in it? Like that Kay pickup or a 'Lighting Hopkins" model De Armond pickup?

Nice, and happy birthday. I picked this one up at a yard sale. It's got a slight warp around the sound hole, but plays nice and stays in tune. Gotta love the painted-on pick guard!

Expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed (and I mean that in an optimistic way).
