It's a Gibson Les Paul 50s Tribute that I ordered back in June.

Congrats Mitch! 8)

Was this the one you've been waiting for? The one delayed by the flood?

What body wood?

Thanks Tony! Yes this is the Les Paul Studio 50s Tribute I ordered in May. It has a maple cap on a mahogany body. It is chambered so it is light for a Les Paul about 7 1/2 pounds. It's a cheap guitar because it is a studio but I think it is really nice and was worth the wait. here are the specs for this model

Congrats Mitch! I want one of these bad, but the Goldtops are apparently very thin on the ground, not surprisingly. Enjoy it! :D

Wow, that is LIGHT!

My son's friend has a LP Studio but it is solid mahogany, and it is HEAVY!

Very cool!

ENJOY!

That looks sweet! Congratulations.

I bet the p-90's on a light, chambered body with a little distortion probably sing.

Thanks! I ordered a second one from Music 123. Don't know if I will get it because the Goldtops are in short supply but if I do I think I will put mini humbuckers in to make it into a '70s Tribute.

Funny, I've always wanted a deluxe in wine red like Hackett's, and a goldtop like John Flansburgh's.

That's a nice one! Sometimes I think about getting a Les Paul, but I don't because I'm just so confused about the different models. That LPSGT looks pretty good, I might pick one up if it shows up at my local shop.
