As much as I hate to admit it, yes, jeff you were right! Lol! Its a 65. Given the wear, I got it for way cheaper than they usually go for.

former club member mine was black,it was when i was trying to play guitar,and around the same time i owned a guild acoustic,an early 70's rickenbacker 6 string,and a 60's fender esquire,but that phase passed. all of those guitars together probably were purchased and sold/traded for less than $1000.......yeesh. that is one good sounding 12'er,and i thought it played nicely,which was quite a notable thing for me-i really cant play guitars...hurts my left hand to make those shapes...enjoy!

ps i seem to remember reading somewhere that this is the 12 string roy wood used on all those Move albums.(!)

The Firebird XII was the Gibson Firebird 12-string version. It's a two pickup model with a long Gibson 12-string headstock and neck set on a non-reverse Firebird body.
