Somehow I feel a Spike-y influence in that strangely positioned sound hole

Cream & sugar too?

Hmmmm....Did the Archies play Fenders too? Maybe they'd really have something marketable there!

Nice bass, but there's no jack to plug it in..... so that you can play just like Danny.
Your post cracked me up more than seeing CJ with a spray can, Joey.
It's a Byrd, it's a playin'..........

Ange, I think it's just ribbing F*nd*r about marketing everything in the world. I'm wondering why they never thought about making cars with fenders that have their logo on all four of them. There really has been no bashing.

Fender should really think about reissuing the Electric XII and not waste their time with these rubbish guitars. I don't like them, as they just don't float my boat.

Agreed. But American-made, like the AVRI series. And, custom colors!!!

Yeah, and if you cover that ugly F-hole with duct tape, it looks even more "pawn-shoppy"!

Old trick for bridging holes (even F-holes):

Lay duct tape larger than hole, sticky-side-up on workbench (clean dirty, oily, filthy, doesn't matter...it's a bodge!), mix BOG with BOG stiffener, apply to sticky side of duct tape, stick tape to surface with tape/wet BOG sandwich over hole area. Let stiffen. Peel or grind off tape. Make smooth.

Paint and sell, before rust season.

Of course, I've never practiced this professionally, but I do read a lot...
