Macca as a Wilbury?

Post by craig55 »

Isnt it time to get a good bass player in this group??
Or better yet...quit the teasing and give us the threatles!
We wont hold anything sub par against the 3!
Will we??

Here Comes the Sun was the Threatles as were several Abbey Road tracks.

I should think that Macca would make a great Wilbury but I wouldn't hold my breath. Nice thought though.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Ahh..Mark...dear boy...We are all fans and would love any "sound" that we can get our hands on, but to think that they can make the same sounds now that they did in 1969 seems like only a hope!
Heres a thought...Which tunes would you love to see the Threatles redo-I am sure this is hypothetical!? I would have loved to see them break into I wanna hold your hand while they were doing Let It Be!

What is interesting, cr818, is that the possibility does exist (if only remote) that the Threatles could release something special in the future. I'm with you, I would accept anything released by them in a heart beat. I would, however, like it to be new material.

Peter, I think the whole noun called "The Beatles" should probably stay in the 60's. John is currently on holiday!
But a George/Paul recording might be nice!

I don't remember the group the "Threatles". Guys...c'mon just let it go. The Beatles are done. We are going to be subject to material churned out over and over again. And you know what...that's ok. Lets not ruin a good thing by trying to bring it back. You can't go home again. Let's be thankful and move on. And let them move on. I'm happy looking forward to solo stuff. Besides I believe we can talk about their RIC's forever anyway. It's all good!
LET THE WORLD KNOW YOU WANT PAUL TO BRING BACK THE 4001. JOIN OUR FACEBOOK GROUP!! http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=147641915268984

Brian, I agree...you can't go back!
So lets see if we can get the "Threatles" to give us some new studio work! As an aside...I happened to be on a boat cruise in the early 80's and Billy Joel was on the boat. He played for an hour one night and it was great! Guess what he played? BEATLES... only Beatles! He should team with Paul and see what comes out! They both have places in the Hamptons!
