Hello & 370/6 VP JG

Post by bterry »

Hi,

I'm a new member here - been playing Ric's off and on for years but I have a 2008 370/6 VP in Jetglo headed my way next week. I'm really mostly familiar w/ 330's so I'm wondering if other 370 owners/players care to comment on this model and what your thoughts are. I'm very much looking forward to getting it in my hands.

I'll take some pics when it arrives.

Cheers,

BT

Welcome, Brian! :)

My 370s are all twelve-strings and a bit oddball, so I can't comment from the correct perspective. However, I can say that you will need to experiment with various combinations of the pickup selector switch, volume and tone controls, and that 'mysterious' fifth knob! :D

Hello Brian, I flat pick a lot in compensation for my soloing abilities, I clunk into the middle pickup sometimes...I think it adds to my mysterious sound....hahhaha.
It took me some getting used to, I do like the tone combinations. I think my blend knob (5) goes between the middle and neck.
Have tons o' fun with it!

Hey, thanks guys. I've heard the 370's with their 3 pickups really nail the jangle thing...
