Gibson SJ 200

Post by Danotron »

SUPER JUMBO :D

I was at Best Buy (of all places) a few weeks ago and they have a musical instrument section that includes some high end Gibson stuff. In talking to the sales guy, it seems that they don't sell much high end Gibson stuff at Best Buy (go figure  ) so they had decided to put it on clearance and make this type of guitar a "special order" item only.

This particular guitar had been in the store since it arrived new in 2008, and looked like almost nobody had touched it, unlike Guitar Center where some of the guitars look very used after a month or two from people playing them.

Bottom line, clearance price (including case) + extra 10% off (with only minor working over of the sales guy) = new guitar for Danotron!

I'm not going to say it was cheap, these are pretty pricey, but it was about 1/2 of what they go for at Guitar Center.

It's the loudest acoustic guitar I've ever played without a doubt; and as of right now, I'm absolutely in love with it 8)

Cell phone pictures don't do her justice, especially the color wich is more "honey" (Gibson calls it "Antique Natural"), but cell phone pictures are all I have....
