They're one of the best RIC dealers and I do visit that page often. One of these days, who knows, I may give them my business. Nearly bought a 4004Cii from them once but decided I didn't really need it.

Steve Mesple and the crew at Wildwood are absolutely outstanding. I visit the new arrivals page frequently, and I always bring my drool cup. I've bought a Les Paul and a strat from them. In the case of the Les Paul, I had chosen a '59 re-issue that I had seen on the website. When they took the guitar down to package it for shipping, they noticed a scratch in the back of the guitar. Steve called me, and offered me the option of replacing it. He had just received a new shipment from Gibson, and had a few that were not yet posted on the website. I ended up with a guitar that I liked better than the one I had originally chosen. He also sent me a Gibson custom shop jean jacket. I don't know if thay send those out with larger purchases or if it was a reward for our "troubles", but in the end I am definitely a happy camper, proud owner of a couple awesome guitars, and would highly recommend these guys to anybody.

I haven't checked them for a bit, but used to do so periodically. I was always amazed at the shear number of Rics they were always selling. I've been there once to check it out.

I too have visited the Wildwood's page and marveled! So, where is a good place to find previously owned Rickenbacker basses? I've done the ebay search but besides that, any other "best kept secret" websites??

I watch it quite often too but it seems as if LOTS of other people do as well. Last time I put
an order in someone had beaten me out of it by seconds!!!

can you guys post a link? I've not heard of this business, and I googled it but I don't see a new arrivals page on their site. TIA

There is a 'New Arrivals' tab on the top of their page.
