Nice '52! I say, I have a soft spot for those, best Tele's around.

Oh.........why would you say that Jake? I have a number of Tele's and I would be hard pressed to say one or another is THE BEST! But obviously you have your reasons for saying that. So now I am curious as to what I missed these past 47 years that I have been playing Fender guitars.

Very nice assessment, Brian. I've only owned 3 Teles in the past, and played about 5. But to be fair, the BEST Tele for me is my trusty '63 MIM RI. It's affordable price makes it a kick ash (get it? cos it's made out of ash :P ) guitar. But, I think the '52 RIs have something interesting about them, too. I don't know if it's the sound, the butterscotch finish or what, but I like them...a lot.

Ah! I see............so they are not the best, they are just a great guitar. I can live with that. :lol:
