Testimonial: Rauen Guitars

Post by NFB-418 »

If anyone's looking for an EXCELLENT luthier in the Midwest (specifically Milwaukee, WI), then I would highly recommend Denny Rauen. I recently took my 4003 to him for some work and all I can say is that my bass has never played better. He did an A+ job which was worth every penny.

He restored Roger Glover's Ric bass in 2005 and has repaired instruments for Buddy Guy, Keith Richards and numerous others.

You can find Rauen Guitars online to check out Denny's bio and samples of his work.
“'What was that note?' I told him it was a B natural, the third of G dominant 7 going back to C minor, and I can't talk while I'm playing so don't ask me any more questions." - Ron Carter to Miles Davis

I agree about Rauen. He refinished my Chris Squire to Candy Apple Red. Flawless brilliant work. I just wish I still had that bass.
