Roger McGuinn Impersonator (original solo album)

Post by Byrds1967 »

For anyone that might be interested. I'm David Whitt better, known as "Roger McGuinn Impersonator" on YouTube. I just released my own solo album with cuts that have a retro feel of 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's music. You can preview it on Amazon.com, iTunes, and CDBABY. All electric work was done with a Rickenbacker 330 and RIC 370/12. Artist: David Whitt & Friends. Album: Fading Away. Thanks.

Hi David, I've been wondering for a couple of years why I haven't seen you posting on this forum. Congrats on the new CD. I hope it takes off. For those who might not know David, you should check out his YouTube videos. Lots and lots of Byrds songs, done very well. Tom

Yep, I agree with Tom. David is top notch. I only wish he didn't live so far away! Good luck on the CD David.

My buddy and I were watching you on YouTube, David. He pointed out that you not only had the sound down, you had the look, too. He thought you could pass off as Roger's son!

The 370/12 was your McGuinn LE, correct? Congrats on the album, hope it sells well.

I just sampled your CD on Amazon.com. Reminds me a little bit of the Shamus Twins' "Garden of Weeds." Nicely done.
