Took the words right outta my mouth, Chris.

Happy birthday to a man who made his way around a 12-string guitar better than anyone else. It's a shame people TODAY can't look up to him.

Happy 69th Birthday to Captain Rick! Kudos for a lifetime of popularizing traditional folk music, and for transforming the sound of the electric guitar!

My kudos to Master McGuinn also---he'll always be "Jim" to me  ....Several years ago I exchanged emails with the great man, and he put up with me and my silly questions, was a gentleman and always polite. He actually got me on the compressor road with my Rick 12, something I was not aware of---he described how his Ricks had the compression circuitry built in to the ax.....I went out and bought a Milk Box compressor and the rest is....er....well....made a big difference in my live and recorded sound....

"Eight Miles High" is a jazz masterpiece......so is "I See You", which is Studio Z's next cover project.....

wish i could come down to FLA and jam on the beach with ya---happy birthday, very late, from a cat who just turned 62 hisself... :D
