Even my brother learned some Ramones bass parts for the jam. I almost fell out of my chair when he told me that. He's usually bending my ear and putting me to sleep about bass parts for "Freebird" or something by Clapton, though he does like some of the new wave stuff as well. He liked Blondie and the Pretenders. . . or maybe he just liked Debbie Harry and Chrissie Hynde. . .
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

A reminder to everyone showing up with guitars to display. As part of the security measures implemented for the guitars, be ready to have them checked in when you arrive! Owner, year, model and serial number will be recorded, just like last year.
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

I'm as mad as a wet hen, Deta connection Skywest screwed up the flight info , sent me to the wrong gate, and the agent there didn't tell me about the change until after pushback.I had time to make it had I known.
The next flight would have gotten me there about ending time.Grrrrr........

Whew! Time to get some dinner...

there's going to be a lot of pix with a lot of smiling faces. I want to let it be known that there's four people responsible for all those smiling faces:

Joey & Dianne for getting the shindig together and running security and being the brain trust. Big homage their way.

Paulie for being the MC and ensuring that as many people got to play and the situation didn't devolve into a 'me and my friends' event!

John Hall for providing the PA and arranging equipment and WORKING HIS *** OFF. Also, I might add - go see Hautwerk. They are an EXCELLENT band.

food time....
