His DC seems to still have its original bridge in this video. I saw a photo, taken later I guess, where it's sporting a Gibson compensated stop bridge. Of course he could have had more than one, but that's a mod I'm considering; the vintage style Dano bridge leaves a little to be desired IMO for a couple of reasons.

Ah, you're right Kira - eventually it had a Badass bridge or a Pigtail bridge on it. I'm surprised even this late he was still getting so much mileage out of that horrible Dano bridge!

Yes, I think it was a Badass wraparound bridge, now that you mention it. Of course, the original bridge with its wooden mono-saddle is not compensated for intonation. It also tends to collapse under string tension.

We have the amp in case model. Not nearly as mint as Mitch Berger's but it sounds great. We used the guitar and amp on my son's latest recording.

Our guitarist also gave my son a 63 reissue guitar in black that we considered trading for a baritone.
