620 Serial Number

Can someone who knows more about things help me?

I have just bought a 620 on E-bay which I am very excited about but the chap selling it said that the serial number was 00 7670 which the Rickenbacker serial decoder website sais is unrecignised serial number. My other Rick has a 7 digit serial which I think is more usual.

Does anyone know anything about this? should i be worried?

Got pics? A 2000 would be: 00 on top, 5 digits on bottom... suppose if the 5 digit portion could have left off a leading zero? But I wouldn't think so.
