Classic Series is MIM, according to Fender. My Telecaster is a Classic Series '60s model and it's MIM. Also, the back of the head says it's MIM, too.

Congrats!!! Fantastic guitars, and I love the color!

Jake's right the Fender Classics are MIM. Quality components, excellent finishing, they feel and sound great. On the samples I've played and compared, I like them better than the American Standards.

I previously owned a Classic '60s (Burgundy Mist), and currently own a Classic '50s (Daphne Blue).

When comparing them to AVRI, they aren't as...erm...sticky, either. The back of my Strat neck feels like I played it with my hands full of chocolate.

Ah! Tony Joe..........the master of understated guitar riffs and smooth harmonica parts. I love the skill he displays and also his overall musicianship. He's a great artist IMO.

I agree with 100%, Brian. Two songs he recorded that I only recently discovered are "Undercover Agent For The Blues" and "Saturday Night". Love 'em! :D
