Anyone know what year Rics started to come with adjustable pole pieces?
Reason why I am asking is that some dealers have new 330s that I am interested in, but the serial numbers go as far back as 2007! Sold as new, but if I am buying new, I sure would want what is new (like adjustable pole pieces) on a Ric. I know a 2007 Ric will have the old string gauge (.042s), that doesn't bother me, but would a 2007 have the new pole pieces?

Thanks.
2006 is good to know. You made my mind rest a little easier.
I wonder if any other new modifications were done to Rics in recent years. String gauge, pole pieces...

I recall the headstocks were made smaller in late 2006/early 2007 - funny because some of the anniversaries have the big boat paddles and some have the smaller ones.Tommy wrote:Thanks.

It's easy enough to tell- if it has a hex wrench socket head it's adjustable, otherwise it's not.
