Final Fools on Sunday gig? 11/5/2011

Post by marc61 »

Celebrating my 50th birthday by putting together a show.

Evan wanted to do a set of Black Sabbath, so we shall do so.

I wish I could see this show. You should bring it out west!

Joey and I have been known to sneak a little Black Sabbath into some of our mini Jams.

Happy early Birthday by the way :)

Have fun and don't be Paranoid at the gig? Show the crowd you can be a Master Of your own Reality.

Dan - yeah it should be interesting. My friend Marc who is playing guitar that night is from a legendary 80s Thrash band called Carnivore (who's singer was Pete Steele from Type O Negative). Who knows? Maybe instead of the end, it's part of a new beginning ;)

Jeff..No Paranoid to be performed, but I am paranoid about being Mr Butler for the evening.

Not sure yet if I'm using my Ric bass as we're tuning down to C# and I have to play another set with a Garage Band in regular tuning.

Well I don't know for sure. I'm just tired of putting shows together. Getting the other bands, being the stage manager at the shows etc. I just canceled a band for this show because they didn't like their time slot. Shame on them.

It'll probably be more of a thing like...someone asks us to play so, we get a guitarist and put together something special like this one. Or like, J Dog is in town, so we perform as his rhythm section..stuff like that

Tough being on the lowest rung of Rock and Roll

Are the hinges nice, heavy, brass ones?

And, what kind of wood is the door made from?

Lots of changes to tomorrow night's bill...

If by some strange circumstance, anyone is in the area, bring your axe and Jam..we're going to open up to all from 1-2AM which is kinda prime time there.
