I love the music of india and have lived there to study instrument production of sitar, sarod, tabla, veenas, and harmonium. I own and play all these instruments I'm not saying I'm a master but a dabbler, they are very dear to my heart so you can imagine when I saw this add after getting an email from Ravi Shankar's sitar maker Sanjay Sharma a longtime friend....It was also created from a person who I have tried get in contact with Tony Karasek, because he used to live in India to study the craft as well now I think he has settled in Virginia or the southern landscape of America to continue his shop I still believe he has a shop in India in Mumbai but he just oversees production from a far. I would like to hear how this one sounds... What do you fellows think?

I'm alittle confused with the sypathetic strings and how they will be picked up or projected because if your using an amp it will definityl be louder than the sympathetics....

I have seen this before. Are you connected in any way to the maker of this instrument Patrick?

Re: ANYBODY SEEN THIS!!!
We have seen this instrument before; somebody posted a link to this, in the past. Very odd, for sure.
Re: ANYBODY SEEN THIS!!!
