of the Nerve, and later the Beat. Most noted for writing the hit tune covered by Blondie. Hanging on the Telephone

You made me do a double take there. I played bass, albeit short-term, for 'The Nerve' in the early '80s. There I was, thumping away on my EB-2. Halifax experimental underground scene lead by Phollop Willing PA with 'Octavia' on vocals. Though I didn't play on the recording, the big single was "Orphan Baby".

Yessir, Paul Collins is another league all together, lol. :oops: :wink:

Saw Paul and Peter of The Nerves recently in my town at the beginning of the month, He had an awesome looking 330 I think it was with VP
