He was the drummer for 'The Nerves'.

You made me do a double take there. I played bass, albeit short-term, for 'The Nerve' in the early '80s. There I was, thumping away on my EB-2. Halifax experimental underground scene lead by Phollop Willing PA with 'Octavia' on vocals. Though I didn't play on the recording, the big single was "Orphan Baby".

Yessir, Paul Collins is another league all together, lol.
