Wierd wiring sytem?
This is really weird! Does anybody realize, that if you turn down the tone of the bridge (trebble position) PU it also effects the tone of the neck (bass position) PU, but only if the toggle switch is in the middle position? Or is it a wiring mistake on my 1998 4003 model? Can anybody help with some explanation, please!

This is found on most two pickup guitars .
All Gibson guitars are this way and all of their clones.
A Strat does not unless you have the switch in the #4 click. Then the tone controls do interact.
As both pickups are on you get this .
The volume controls on Ricks are wired like a switching Fender Jazz Bass.
That is why they do not interact.
Look at most 4 control Switching guitars and you will find the volumes interact when both pickups are on .You can change this by taking the two 'hot' wires ,on the pot and reversing them .
BUT!!!! then you do not have the 'master' volume control for finger-rolling the volume.Meaning doing Roy Buchanan type volume swells
