Green Laredo Pics?

Post by vito »

Hey guys,

The beautiful tranny green 4004Cii currently listed at POTR got me thinking. Has anyone ever seen pics of a tranny green laredo? I generally prefer the chrome hardware to the gold, and I think the green and chrome would look rather snappy together.

It may be my next RIC....if the wife says it's OK.

...and Mike Parks' website says the 4004L is available in all finishes.

I sent an e-mail to POTR. I guess we'll see.

Hey Vito, I've got a trans green 4004Cii on its' way. The next time you head up to Northern Virginia, let me know and I'll let you take a look at it. How's the 4003FL in Burgandyglo working out for you?

Hey, the Rick website was apparently just updated. The transparent colors are not limited to the 4004CII.

Indeed. And what a shame it is.

Imagine a tranny red 4003VP!

Ron,

Thanks a lot, I may take you up on that. The 4003FL BG is incredible, I'm very happy with it.

Chris Clayton wrote back and said the 4004L is not available in trans green. Hopefully, this was a recent change from Ric and the news hasn't quite trickled down yet.

I can't think of any reason why you couldn't just slap some chrome hardware on a green body....

I suspect it is not a change in RIC policy but simply a correction of an error. As Jared pointed out, the Laredo page shows TR, TB, and TG as options. Someone at RIC noticed the error on the colors page (possibly because of this thread?) and fixed it.

It is always best to ask Ric directly about color options. The website has had a lot of errors in the past in this regard.

I believe that the color of 2005 will be the transparent colors on all RIC guitars!

cheers
