Lennon Guitars

Post by roadrunners »

Hey, I just got done reading a book that is very interesting..........It was writeen by lennons personal assistant and its got ALOT ofpictures that ive never seen before....But it talks abuot how one day at the hit factory, the guitarist from cheap trick was brought in to put down a track on "Im losing you" and he presented lennon with a guitar, lennon then took him back into the area where all of his gear was kept and gave him a private tour of his guitars including the 325C64.........just a little something to think about

Just to clarify Alex, the 325C58 is the recent Rickenbacker reissue guitar of Lennon's 1958 Model 325 Capri as it left the factory.

The 325C64 is the reissue of the stock Model 325, Lennon's second Rickenbacker 325 in Jetglo finish, presented to him during the Beatles' brief Ed Sullivan tour to the US in February 1964.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I was simply noting to fellow readers that it was not in fact the 1958 Lennon 325 but instead, the 325 from 1964
