It's 11 minutes so get comfy, but a Rickenbacker bass cuts through anything. Listen to that fat tone that (active RRF member) Al gets picking above the neck PUP, especially around 4:30. This is a loyal RIC player. Check out his work with OM and Shrinebuilder. I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but with some of the other forum discussions about seeing rickenbacker's on stage, here's one constant.

These three guys play on so many of the recordings in my collection it's hard to imagine. I'll be seeing them next week and I'm looking forward to getting crushed.
