Re: Paint codes
It is, but the color varied over the years. You're looking for a much brighter variety.
Re: Paint codes
I found that pic online somewhere and it's late 70's. Do Rickenbacker give up the codes or is it all guesswork?

Re: Paint codes
WHAT codes? This isn't car paint but rather custom formulas we've developed and mix to. And as pointed out, every color has changed over the years one way or another, even Jetglo black.

Re: Paint codes
So true. I've always started out with a VW color code for AZ, but it always needs tinting to get it right-on. Then there's the issue of the varnish gloss-coats which can amber over time and change AZ to a greener hue, or turn JG into deep olive drab. I could get you a sample of non-ambered, pure AZ, but you'll have to get it matched locally.
Re: Paint codes
Lol, thanks John. I thought it would so easy with a paint code. Parker Fly use a a big name brand paint (can't remember what it is) and the colours are listed in the paint company's colour chart.
That'd be great thanks Paul, do you need an address?
