Auto Correct Torment

Post by admin »

Am I the only one who has days when auto correct completely changes the content of iPhone or iPad posts and messages? How do you turn this function off?
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

It's easy! Do what I do, don't use and iPhone or iPad...

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

I know what you mean. Personally I do better with it on than off, but sometimes it is frustrating.

Anyway, to turn auto correct off:

1. Navigate to Settings -> General -> Keyboard

2. Touch Auto-Correction -> OFF

Peter, it's just Apple trying to help you say what you really always wanted to say but didn't dare to! :lol:

First thing I did when I got my iPhone was switch this function off - heard too much negative about it!

Werner I guess we are just two peas in an iPod or perhaps two tones in an iPhone. I have now down the same.

Now find out how to turn it off on your computer...... :lol: :lol: :lol:

What adds to the fun of autocorrect on an iPhone or iPad is the FB app losing the ability to swipe sideways on your post and the Delete button appear to remove the bad typing. Current "upgrade" lost that ability, again...
