I've been remiss on this group because I keep putting them in a different corner of my mind. I first heard them on the kidlet's high school radio station over a year ago with LIttle Talks--which seems to be a bigger success now.
I'm more fond of Dirty Paws though. This set doesn't seem to be a fluke of the bass player using a Rick. He seems to use it often.
Dirty Paws
Little Talks
Of Monsters and Men.

"Little Talks" is in heavy rotation on a local radio station. I guess it's a good song......... the first 300 times ya hear it....

♪♫♪♫I need new strings, these ones have a bunch of dang wrong notes on 'em ♫♪♫♪

Yes, that's the unfortunate side of radio.
I had heard Little Talks on the local high school radio almost two years ago (where they did a pretty decent rotation on it). Then for some reason stopped listening to the high school radio for some time.
Now, I hear it on people's computers streaming a lot at work.
It took me a bit to place where I had heard it but then it dawned on me.

Oh yeah, Of Monsters and Men are great, listen to 'em fairly often. I had no idea the bass player used a Rick though. Cool!

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
