Pekka Pohjola and Måns Groundstroem of Wigwam

The late great Finnish bassist Pekka Pohjola used a Rickenbacker briefly circa 1974 and played it on Jim Pembroke's second solo album "Pigworm" and it can also be heard at Wigwam's 1974 live recordings released as "Live Music From The Twilight Zone" in 1975. Here's two clips of Wigwam playing two tracks from Pembroke's album live:

Pohjola's previous bass of choice was WEM which he had modified. Curiously the mod looks very much like the one on Roger Glover's Ric wich also had slanted Jazz pickups.

Måsse Groundstroem, Pohjola's replacement in Wigwam also used a 4001 for a while:

Pekka: Thanks for this information. :) Great bass playing and Just My Situation is a great number.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
