Im new to the board and just purchased a 620/12,
I'm wondering about the pickup wiring. Using a mono cable in the regular input is the bridge pickup only. The ric o sound input is the neck pickup only, what am I doing wrong? Should I not be able to use both pickups in the regular jack?
Thanks for the help and sorry about being a newb, lol Love the guitar though!

Re: New 620/12 questions
If the guitar is wired as stock the jack closest to the strap pin is the normal (mono) jack, the one closer to the side of the guitar/floor is the ROS jack which requires a TRS stereo cable with the amp end it terminated (ultimately) in two mono plugs (one for each pickup).

If you are only hearing the bridge pickup in the normal jack, try using the blend knob (the little one) to add the neck pickup.
Re: New 620/12 questions
The mono jack has a built in switch -- when you insert a standard (mono) cable the tip pushes back a contact and completes a circuit so that you get output from both pickups. When I first got my 620/12 the switch wasn't making good contact and if I wiggled my cable plug I would lose the signal from one of the pickups. However, IIRC it was the bridge pickup that would cut out and not than the neck, which sounds like the opposite of your problem, but I may be misremembering. If it turns out you are having this problem it is very easily solved by some gentle and judicious pending of the outer contact strip on the jack.
