English Beat
I was watching VH1 classic and they showed an English Beat video, I couldn't make out what song as I only caught the last couple seconds of it, what I could make out though was a beautiful Mapleglo 425(?). anyone else seen this or was the diphenydramine playing tricks on me????

Re: English Beat
I'm about to catch a plane, so I can't look up the You Tube, but I think I recall a "Mirror in the Bathroom" vid that had a 425/12. Check the one EMI produced. They have definitely used RICs in the past.

Re: English Beat
The MG Ric is seen prominently in the "Best Friend" video.
As a kid the one guitar I noticed from that band was Dave Wakeling's white Vox Teardrop. Guitarist Andy Cox seemed to always be playing something different, but Wakeling usually always had that cool Teardrop guitar (or a Tele).

I seem to remember bassist David Steele using a Fire-glo 4001 in the film "Dance Craze." That's an incredible film--one of the best concert films ever.

Re: English Beat
They headlined the local Pleasantville Music Festival last summer locally. Unfortunately I missed it so, not sure if any Rics made the trip.
