But I guess the slim possibility still exists.

Re: NAMM 2013
Sadly, Duesenberg just posted a new photo on their facebook page that says they're introducing the Mike Campbell II at NAMM this year. I'm guessing this will probably erase any possibility of a Rickenbacker MC350.
But I guess the slim possibility still exists.

Re: NAMM 2013
Guitarists have had signature models from different companies in the past - Clapton and McGuinn immediately come to mind. I wouldn't count it out just based on that. I would count it out, though.campbellfan wrote:Sadly, Duesenberg just posted a new photo on their facebook page that says they're introducing the Mike Campbell II at NAMM this year. Re: NAMM 2013
LOL, yeah I'm not planning on it. But you make a valid point. I guess I just figured since Mike isn't a household name like Clapton, etc. that it would further limit any possibility from that happening. It's a shame. I've been wanting a MC Rick 350 for years. If only it was as simple as modding a 24 fret stock 350. Thanks again.
Re: NAMM 2013
What was the last signature edition they did, Lemmy? Carl Wilson? Lemmy, right?
Re: NAMM 2013
The Carl Wilson LE models were announced in 2000. The Lemmy LE models were announced in 1995.

Re: NAMM 2013
I don't believe the Lemmys shipped until after the Carl Wilson run was completed.
Re: NAMM 2013
I hope that they have great weather for those performing on the stage at NAMM. It is -40C in the wind this morning here. Please post some Rickenbacker NAMM photos to warm me up.
Now where can I get a giant truss rod cover. That must have been from Paul Bunyon's 330!
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Re: NAMM 2013
So far this morning, in Orange County, it's light rain and overcast, in the 50's/60's. That'd be a heat wave for some RRFers, but we're just coming off a week of sunshine and 70's/80's during the day. It's supposed to drizzle on and off for a few days. I hope the forecasters are wrong.T.A.R. wrote:Yes, please post some pics! palm trees and RICs anyhting warm!admin wrote:I hope that they have great weather for those performing on the stage at NAMM. Although announced in 1995, the actual production of the 60 4004LK Lemmy Kilmister Limited Edition (not officially a "signature" edition) was mostly between 2001 and 2006. Don't know about the CWs.

Re: NAMM 2013
I only see one or two CW's produced in 2001 in the register, so I think its safe to say the Lemmys are the last.bassduke49 wrote: Although announced in 1995, the actual production of the 60 4004LK Lemmy Kilmister Limited Edition (not officially a "signature" edition) was mostly between 2001 and 2006. John Hall posted this in 2006 on the RIC Corporate Forum in response to a question about the Carl Wilson LE models:
