For starters, the bridge/tailpiece, neck pu cover, pickguard, knobs, pots and switch cap on that bass are not Rickenbacker parts. Then there's the pickups, with a visible output lead from the treble one. I'm not sure about the bridge pu surround, though. As for the instrument proper, I don't know what to make of it. Is it a legit Rick? Probably not, either. A pic of the headstock with the TRC removed would be gracefully accepted and much appreciated...
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

I am guessing it is a Faker. Look at the position of the strap button on the upper horn. That is were Ibanez and other put theirs.

The thru-neck Ibanez copies were really very nicely made. Some look very much like the real thing and have all too often been passed off as real. I don't know if that is the case with this bass but all of that faker hardware sure does not help the cause.

The pickups appear to have philips screws for polepieces, and polepiece spacing is the same on both. FAKE!

a lot of people do not have the wealth of knowledge that we collectively have and they will go for something that looks real based on what the description says.
