Worth trying. I just checked out a couple of those Boss Enhancers on EBay. Prices aren't too bad.

They're fantastic... and totally worth the $70ish BINs I see right now on the 'bay.


It's the kind of effect where you stomp on it, and may be disappointed that it didn't do much. Then if you play with it on for 5 minutes, then turn it off, you wonder how you ever lived without it. It basically returns some of the high frequency information that typically gets lost when using several pedals in a row. So put it at the end of your chain right before the amp.

I generally don't use too many pedals; mostly my Jangle Boxes for the Rick and an MXR Carbon Copy for the Gretsch. I do have a chorus and a flanger available, but seldom use them.
