330/12 Gold Nameplate and Pickguards / Hi-Gain Pickups

Post by ST01 »

Greetings,

I am new to the forum.

I recently picked up a sweetheart, a 2013 330/12 and I'm working diligently on my playing technique as she is a different animal. My band is a 60's and beyond classic rock 4-piece and this guitar fits right in for a number of songs.

Anyway, I was thinking about swapping out the pickups for a pair of Toasters which is an easy task, but the thing that has got me Jonesin is purely cosmetic, to acquire a black on gold nameplate and gold pickguards for this new version guitar.
I have searched ebay and everything appears to be sold. I have found aftermarket pickguards "Pickguardian" but concerned about the fit.

Does anyone have a reliable source for these products?

Thanks,

Steve

Welcome to the forum!

If you make a tracing of your pickguards and send them to Pickguardian along with your raised-letter TRC, they will make up a set of gold guards to fit your guitar exactly and spray your white TRC gold and then do black over the lettering. I think this is what you are trying to achieve. Not all RIC gold pickguards are interchangeable, best to have one custom fitted to your guitar.
