Beatle Guitar Auctioned

Post by jaybic »

NEW YORK -- A classic Gibson guitar played by George Harrison on the Beatles' "Revolver" album and by John Lennon during the recording of the "White Album" sold Friday to an anonymous bidder for $567,500, Christie's auction house announced.

Just saw this on MSN.com - thought I'd share.....

I read in another forum that it sold to the Harrison Estate. It would be nice that it's back home if that's what actually happened.

The Harrison estate has bought the last 2 known George guitars that have come up for auction. No stopping them....they have more money than me.
