Would you recommend a Ric to me?

Sounds to me like you want a 360 in black with humbuckers

That has to be one of the most rawk guitars on the planet.

The 360V64 has the toasters it goes from that jangle on the rear pickup to nice mellow jazz tones on the front pickup. I'm guessing that the semi-hollow body has something to do with that. If I crank up the amp I would get some nice lead sounds out of it. Although I usually play rhythem.
The 610 has the high gains. These are far more aggressive. The front pickup can get somewhat dark. I prefer the body size of the 600 series. They seem to have perfect balance either sitting with it on your leg or standing with a strap. I don't like the big body of the 330/360's, but I love the semi-hollow sound. If they just made a 350 with a wider neck.

yea, 330 you can really wail on that thing.......nothing with toasters though....youd be severely disappointed unless you wanted a more vintage beatle-esque tone. the 600 series have relitivley wide neck, one of those might be good too

Toasters are more versatile and vibrant than HiGains in my experience. The Ric HB1 humbuckers are quite nice too -loud, no hiss (zero!), plenty of tonal sweep, and sustain

Of course, I've sold all my HiGain Rics as well as my HB1-equipped 650A... so Toasters are obviously my choice. I use them for all manner of playing from warm near-acoustic timbres to full on grinding rock (solos too).

It's funny Noel, because I'm considering selling my toaster equipped 360, because I find it LESS versatile (for my needs) than my 2 hi gain 360s.

Hey, I'm back. Alright, well I finally got to try a Rickenbacker with toasters. It sounded awesome clean, and chords chimed through. The only downside was that it kind of lacked both the low and high end I know I would want for leads. The higher up I got on the neck, the weaker the sound got. So my question is: hi-gains or humbuckers? I know the single coils are prone to giving a lot of feedback, while the humbuckers are dead silent, but given the bands I listed (I'll paste them up here if I have to, they're on the first page) which type would you recommend?

guy picciotto of fugazi uses toasters and higains. he manages to get some ridiculous crunch with both high and low end. check the amp EQ next time you plug in the guitar. he can do some nasty leads with that thing too.
