Have used this on non-Ricks, but not Ricks.

I'd love one but the BT5, advertised as being suitable for most Ricks, does not fit my 4001 V63 - there needs to be a 15/16" gap between the bottom of the G tuner to the top of the E tuner head.

If anyone knows of one that would fit, I'm all ears!

i have the xtender key on 3 other basses. but i wonder about the ric model. i want to see front picture of it. especially the front of the headstock. and hear a comment..

I doubt that the front view of the tuner after fitting into the headstock would look any different to a standard tuner.

I have the HE6C 3/8" on my 4003S. It has the smaller headstock. Works perfectly. I had to drill a 2nd screw hole in the hipshot to secure it better. Simple.
I also have the BT5 and I think that will fit my Amber Fireglo because the headstock is larger. Haven't installed it though.
