A Carl Wilson COA Mystery....

Post by stringsncords »

Hoping that someone here can help me out.....

I purchased a stunningly beautiful 360/6 CW last February on eBay, from a seller in California; it's listed on the Rickenbacker Register as serial # 0030911, production run # 393/500, and the photos on the Register are definitely of the guitar that I have in my possession. Check it out in the Register - it's beautiful. The COA was in the case, along with case candy, and a Carl Wilson poster. Perfect so far!

Here's the problem: The serial number on the guitar doesn't match the number on the COA - the serial number on the guitar is # 0012864. I'm trying to locate the proper COA for my guitar, but I'm also trying to find the true owner of # 0030911, so I can return the COA to its proper owner. My bad that I didn't verify the COA number when the guitar was delivered to me last February, but I'm trying to make it right....and the eBay seller doesn't respond.

Any CW owner out there who has the COA for # 0012864? Any CW owner who needs the COA for # 0030911?
If a lost Rick can be returned to its rightful owner after 17 years, this should be a piece of cake.

THANKS!
