New RIC 360-12

Post by gt5litre »

My new 360-12 will not intonate on the 11th and 12th strings. Get the 11th in and the 12th is way out. I am using the stock 12-string 6 saddle bridge.

I have read about this being a problem with RICs. Is the story true and what can I do to correct it?

Some folks swear that using Pyramid strings will cure intonation problems. I had trouble with my 360/12v64 but no trouble with my 370/12. In any event, I replaced both six-saddle bridges with RIC twelve-saddle bridges.

Make sure that your neck is dead flat (little to no relief). Otherwise you might want to try some different strings.
