Wendy's commercial: 4003 bass (?)

Post by doctorwho »

Has anyone else noticed the bass used in one of the recent Wendy's commercials? It's a take-off of "I'm the One Who Wants to Be With You" (or whatever the actual title is). The one I saw isn't the one on YouTube, which has a color "on the street" part where the bass appears in the sound stage shoot. I haven't been able to record the commercial yet to get a better and longer look at it, but it looks like a Rickenbacker 4003.

What bass? All I notice on Wendy's ads is Morgan Smith Goodwin!

Thanks for the clarification, guys! I couldn't see it long enough when viewing the commercial live, but this screen shot makes it very clear what it is. 8)

I was really disappointed to here that she's not a real redhead.... :(

It really is a good look for her.

At least they toned down the freckles she sported in the first couple (remember "how about a turn signal?")

She's managed to turn this into a steady, well-paid gig. A lot of other folks would be quite envious.
