Post by bowser2533 »

Does anybody out there know the difference between a ric circa63 and a circa64 12 string?

I thought Rickenbacker went to the rounded front body style and did away with the double binding in1964?

Both old style and new style ran in parallel for several years.

Do you mean the original models from those two years, or the reissue models that are labeled with the year in the model number?

I meant the re-issue models. I just purchased one that was made in 1998.It was under a bed for 16 yrs. The guitar sounds great. The person I bought it from said it was a 360/12 c64.I also have another 360/12 made in 08 with the rounded front. Just was wondering what are some of the differences other than the body style. Both guitars have a little bit different sound. They are both keepers tho. Thanks Gary Serial # is R1 7833.

That should be 360/12V64. I used to have a 360V64, the less common 6 string version.
