Pots from different years?

I just bought a used '86 Ric. Beautiful guitar, appears untampered with. I checked out the pots, 2 date to '84 and the other 3 date to '76. Is this possible that these are original and Ric used leftover pots?

Interesting. Can you post a pic of the harness? What are the pot values?

I also noticed the treble volume knob is incorrect, and says "bass tone". I guess I should send this guy back.
Does the soldering show changes?

While this does look like other wiring harnesses I've seen from that period, both caps should be Spragues. Can't tell what the yellow one is. If any of the pots have been changed, you'd be able to tell by looking at the soldering for the ground wire.
